Brooklyn Botanic Garden in New York

The Botanic Garden is a special place. Founded over a hundred years ago while Brooklyn was quickly being developed, these 52 acres remain green and beautifully tended. The BBG is a not-for-profit owned partly by the city of New York (which is a cool way to spend your wedding dollars). There are so many spots to visit around the gardens for incredible photos. If you have a little extra time to spend here doing photos, please take advantage of that and let me know! Receptions I’ve photographed here have all been in the Palm House, which is a gorgeous glass atrium with amazing natural light. When the weather is right, you can have your cocktail hour and reception overflow outside the Palm House on the water garden pools, brimming with lily pads.
