The Addison Grove in Austin, Texas

The Addison Grove is a beautiful ranch venue in the hill country of Austin, located about 20 miles from downtown. When you pull in to the winding drive, you’re greeted by a pasture of longhorns grazing amongst the wildflowers. Sweeping oak trees surround the 6,000 square foot modern barn, which has chandeliers hanging from the ceiling amidst exposed overhead beams. Sliding glass doors open up to an attached patio for an indoor-outdoor space especially nice for a cocktail hour or large reception. Guests can stroll down a pathway to a beautiful oak grove where ceremonies are often held underneath the oak tree canopy. There is also a spacious bridal party house with manicured gardens behind it and a lovely pond, as well as large open fields. I loved the variety of photo options while working here — open fields, an intimate shaded oak grove, a pond, or longhorns behind you.
